So if you only do the things you have to do because you already have the items anyway, Elden Ring is not that long at all. The first time you play through, you want to visit every dungeon, uncover every secret, discover every hidden item. Now I actually only visit the points I feel like and bam… you’re already at the fire giant.
The fire giant – somehow I remembered him as being unproblematic. The guy is actually not difficult, you just have to stick to certain body parts and watch out for the fireballs and his flaming push-ups. Sometimes I have the feeling that I just die without doing anything 😀
I have switched on the game music here. Somehow I can’t get used to the ambient music. I find it mostly disturbing and inappropriate. I think it would have been good here if it could only be heard now and then. A little more background noise than classical instruments would also be more immersive, in my opinion. Without the music, i have most of the time wind and some animals. Thats good, but here need to be more 🙂
