After a long search for a new place to farm runes, I found it. Mohgwyn Palace was still too high and Storm Veil Castle was too low. After a long search, I finally found a suitable place, Nokron City. More precisely, The Night’s Sacred Grounds. I sunk an entire Sunday afternoon into strengthening the spirits. With some good music, you can do that once in a while. I hope that the time and patience will bear fruit.
However, I am confident that Alisan can now defeat the Godskin bosses. What I urgently need at the moment are level five smithing stones. I haven’t had an enemy yet where I can reach with the ghost that dropped them. I could do a run in the mine in Leyndell to collect what is hanging on the walls, hoping that it will at least be enough for an upgrade of the morning star.
The Smithing Stone Miner’s Bell Bearing (3) I unfortunately only get in the Zamo Ruins, so after Leyndell. That will be very tricky.
At the moment, however, I’m very happy to be making significant progress in character building. I really wish FromSoftware had a heart for pet classes and would perhaps introduce the Ghost Whisperer. I know it’s not easy, but I love pet classes and would be very happy about something like that. But I think it doesn’t fit into the current concept just from the game mechanics. But it would be really nice if I could equip and dress the pet. Maybe not just a mirror image but its own look. It would also be nice to make the other ghosts useful in some way, they are somehow degraded to purely collectible objects. Although at level 10 you could unpack a knight and see how it does on the run?
