Wow, the next section is really fantastic, you feel as if you are visiting a sunken alien ruin where some of the technology still works. Seat of Infinity is visually one of the most beautiful areas so far. I am still totally impressed by the design of the world.
But I’m slowly noticing a few points of criticism. I notice that I have absolutely no problems with the bosses, actually they all work according to similar tactics, distance, distance… when the shell is ready, attack and distance again. It’s enough that I really finish some of them off directly on the first try. In contrast, I sometimes find the trash mobs (standard enemies that keep coming back) really challenging. Especially when groups pounce on you. In the Seat of Infinity area, my biggest problems were crossbowmen who shoot direct volleys of burning bolts incredibly far. Also, enemies that appear out of nowhere (the red ghosts) and can kill you instantly with crystal pillars that poke out of the ground.
What I find very positive is that there is no overlevelling. So you can’t just power up all your attributes until it becomes a walk in the park.
What I absolutely appreciate is the environment design, the graphic implementation and the soundscape. I’m curious about what’s still to come, I’d like to slowly leave the swamp as a shelter.
