What a rollercoaster ride! I felt like a champion in La Cité, but in Luxembourg? That’s when I realised that I have a talent for taking on one opponent at a time, not a whole squad. I imagine it like this: After what feels like an eternity, I reach the garden of Luxembourg, only to realise that I’ve forgotten to press the all-important record button for the video. An hour of wandering around, and the result? Nada! The mood sinks faster than a rollercoaster ride!
Round two, and I’m in a hurry. I no longer check every nook and cranny, I just dash off. A big mistake! Haste leads to mistakes, mistakes lead to frustration, and the frustration? It’s a loop of mistakes and annoyances! Plus, the game decides to play hide and seek with my commands. That vampire jump? Sometimes it comes too late, even when I’m already on the ground. Strange vibes, aren’t they?
I managed to defeat the boss, the alchemist, without too much trouble (well, on the first try, but who’s counting?). But when several enemies are put in my way, the irritation starts. I need a weapon that can deal with the crowd, and I need it now! Unfortunately, I don’t have anything in my gear that scales with agility and can be used against multiple enemies. I also need Anima Essences, of course.
On paper, the dagger and sword looked like a winner, but in practice? More stamina consumption and slower stun times for enemies. So I’ll start with the claws again. I’d like a weapon for enemy groups, or at least something useful to pick out, the frost musket is more for alchemists.
