09 – Death to Antanas (Grand Finale)

I fight my way up the tower, soldiers lurking everywhere. But not simple soldiers, no, well-trained elites. Invisible assassins, shield fighters who can stun me, swordsmen who have incredible power and range in their attacks. Of course, I don’t want to forget the archers, who can turn round in one move, push me away and strike immediately. I’m just a little rogue who fell for Antanas’ manipulations.
But I made it, at some point I was at the top of the citadel and faced Antanas. Unfortunately it was no longer possible to talk to him, he looked different somehow.
After a surprisingly quick fight, he was finished. I’m just tired and exhausted now. I’m glad that the soldiers are no longer hostile towards me. I’ll probably run myself a bath and have a good soak.

OOC: It’s done with the Rogue now too, I have to say the Rogue was the hardest round in Lords of the Fallen. The easiest by far is the Cleric. The Warrior was also quite relaxed, he can take a lot and does a lot of damage. The Rogue… hmmm… difficult, short range, low HP, thin armour and the damage is also limited. You really have to fight for every bite here. Overall, however, Lords of the Fallen (2014) is a good game. It has many quirks and bugs (enemies that disappear, sometimes you can only see the weapons), cameras that hide behind objects, especially when it is already difficult in narrow dark corridors. Sometimes you die if you get stuck somewhere without the intervention of an enemy. The controls are also very cumbersome and you can’t cancel commands. You practically know two seconds in advance that you’re not going to get anywhere and you’re going to die. I also have the feeling that the computer intercepts my inputs. It doesn’t punch all the time, but as soon as I punch it makes a move forwards and blocks me or it makes a heavy punch that I can’t interrupt. Me on the other hand… I actually get staggered by everything… A cobweb stuck to my leg is enough for me.
