11 – Boss Spurned Progeny

It was clear that a boss would come, but not exactly when. But when a barely guarded corridor led to a large gate, it was clear that it was about to get down to business. Somehow I almost didn’t believe that I could still find my way through the city with its many branches. There is usually only one way, but it is often well hidden. That annoys me a bit, I like duels, not a labyrinth with lots of groups of enemies and there’s always an ambush everywhere, you can rarely escape from an emergency situation because you run straight into the next problem. It’s also not easy for me to enjoy the artistic environment under the constant pressure, the atmosphere has always been something I really appreciated in games like this.
I think this will get worse and many passages are only doable after a few deaths if you know them.
The next boss, Spurned Progeny, on the other hand, is quite doable again. Once you know his pattern. In this case it wasn’t that difficult, you just have to dodge it very close to the end, which is something I’m familiar with from Dark Souls III and Thymesia.
