What an interesting and vast land – Liurnia of the Lakes. It seems that my melee skills are a bit rusty, so I take every opportunity to improve my ability with two hammers. Especially the handling of two weapons is more demanding than with one shield. My muscle memory sometimes really looks for a shield instead of striking with the second weapon. I think I’ll still learn that, slowly the hammer in the second hand doesn’t feel so wrong anymore.
My thanks go especially to a Leyndell knight wandering near the artist’s hut. He has managed to take away my wariness of knights with shields. After plenty of practice, I knew his weak points and had so much fun that I wanted to win against him without any weapon skills.
I was able to try out this newly acquired knowledge a little later on the knights of Caria. At first I still had a few problems competing against horses, but even this I was able to master successfully.
Since we are talking about knights with horses, at the end I met a lady on horseback who was more or less my test, but even there I got the lady in metal under control after a few attempts.
