As a preacher, I try to convey faith. I want to connect as many people as possible with our God. Salvation and the good news should simply be shared with everyone. The suffering in this world is only temporary and not even a drop of water in the ocean of time. On my journey through this world, however, I am not only a preacher and teacher, I am also a pilgrim and disciple. In order to ground myself a little and reflect on the essentials, I have put aside my hammer and my good cloth and am once again wrapped in a simple cloth and a stick that can just about carry my weight. I want to sharpen my mind and my vision and strengthen my faith. For I am nothing without my Lord and he is everything.
Here in the swamp, faith is still foreign to many, many of these creatures still know nothing of our Lord, they will be glad, I hope, that many questions will find answers.
