Mortal Shell II

Mortal Shell II is a dark action RPG set in the ruined world of Fainweald, where exploration, brutal combat and fragmented storytelling are closely intertwined. At the heart of the game is the Shell system, allowing the player to inhabit different fallen warriors, each with their own abilities, memories and distinct combat style.

The world is filled with abandoned settlements, ancient strongholds, corrupted creatures and hidden paths that reward careful exploration. Rather than telling its story directly, Mortal Shell II reveals much of its lore through environments, memories, encounters and scattered fragments of the past.

Combat remains deliberate and unforgiving, but the different Shells, weapons and upgrade paths allow for very different approaches to each journey. Depending on the chosen Shell, the game can feel aggressive, defensive, tactical or almost experimental, giving each playthrough its own identity.
