The first part of the castle is climbed. Here you have to climb over lava flows, fallen towers and broken walls. It’s actually more about getting into the castle. My destination for the night is the castle forecourt. One good thing about it, it’s nice and warm. My old bones don’t tolerate the cold well, so I enjoy the all-enveloping warmth of the lava. So I’m looking forward to the camp for the night, little humidity, lots of bubbling liquid stone, plenty of Rohgar Brut.
