Aldrich, the so-called Devourer of Gods, was no more than a bloated husk of gluttony, his form writhing with the remnants of his feasts. His arrows rained down like a deadly storm, but I stood resolute. My Hexsword cut through his miasma, and my dark spells pierced his bloated essence. He fell with surprising ease, his dreams of godhood extinguished by shadow and flame.
I turned to leave, triumphant, but the shadows of Anor Londo held more than forgotten prayers. From the darkness emerged Holy Priest Squilla, a swift and cunning adversary draped in ceremonial robes that shimmered with enchantments. Her ambush caught me unprepared—her holy light clashing violently against my darkness. She was relentless, her strikes precise, and for the first time in what felt like ages, I fell.
When I returned, it was with purpose. Squilla’s spells were formidable, but they relied on rhythm and control—both of which I disrupted with Mind Corruption. Her carefully calculated movements faltered as chaos turned her own magic against her. In the end, her holy light flickered and died, consumed by my shadows.
With Anor Londo silent once more, I found myself at a crossroads. I had braved frost, fire, and divine fury. My robes, though durable, bore the marks of my trials—scorched edges, frost-bitten hems, and the ever-present weight of dust and ash. Perhaps it was time for a change.
“Something… stylish,” I mused, brushing the soot from my sleeve. Anor Londo’s desolation offered no such luxuries, but surely, somewhere ahead, a land existed where darkness and fashion intertwined. A place where I could refine my craft—and my look.
