There is nothing more frustrating than losing a lot of souls and dying while trying to get them back due to carelessness. Afterwards, you are so frustrated that you have to die 3-4 more times and just want to bite the joypad.
It actually went better than expected at the beginning of Carthus, from the ramp on I thought, well, it’s going to be easy to get through here. Then I die due to lack of concentration and hecticness and while retrieving 14000+ souls… I just fly into the abyss with the enemy. The boss of Carthus, High Lord Wolnir, suddenly comes up with new spells (summon skeletons). This time it was really bumpy, even if the goal was achieved. I’m still mourning the total of 30,000 lost souls (I lost another 17,000+ souls a second time at the boss). But losing souls has one advantage: you play more relaxed afterwards, you have nothing to lose.
