Boss killed: Soul of Cinder
Every now and then you are surprised by new things in the game. This was the first time I got help from two NPCs at the final boss (Soul of Cinder). I took both of them directly to the final fight, but what I suspected happened, the final boss simply had too much HP and I was too impatient. Only with Yura did it go really quickly and without incident.
Now Farah has also stumbled completely through the game once. The game is much easier for me as a fighter than with a ranged fighter. When you play with a wizard you are more afraid and always want to keep your distance. You also sneak more through the vaults and castles. I feel much safer with a sword and shield.
At the moment I often think about starting Elden Ring. But I’m worried that it either won’t be as good as I hoped and will completely turn the gameplay of Dark Souls 3 upside down again (I don’t like that when I’ve just got used to something) or it’s really great and I’ll sink a few 100 hours of my life into it again 🙂
Another option would be to start Dark Souls 1 all over again. Now with more experience it could be exciting, especially since the parrying was much easier there.
