Location: Nokron (The Eternal City)
Boss(es) killed: Regal Ancestor Spirit, Mimic Tear, Valiant Gargoyles
Ranni’s quest continues, now that the stars are free again we can discover Nokron. Great area.
I have already explored this area with (Godslayerslayer the Black Flame) Nax, but with a melee fighter it is indeed a very different experience. I also have to say that I find it a little easier. With Nax, I always have to keep my distance and only bring out the mace if i have no other choise. Here – shield up, Hellbarde takes care of the rest.
I don’t know why, but I like it when I’m not alone facing the boss. Whether it’s one of the ghosts or actually an NPC who wants to come along – I enjoy it more. If he then dies in battle and I end up fighting alone, it’s somehow strangely lonely. Maybe the feeling comes from the fact that you’re roaming around alone all the time and then when someone joins you, even the computer controls him, it feels like company right away.
