Leaving his camp at the foot of Mt. Gelmir behind, Blake sets out with a simple goal. The spirits of his fallen Redmane comrades have fought loyally by his side, and before the road grows even harsher, they deserve to be strengthened. Deep within the forgotten Tombsward Catacombs, he searches for Grave Gloveworts so that the ashes of Radahn’s soldiers may once again stand ready for battle.
While wandering through ancient tombs and forgotten ruins, Blake finds his thoughts returning to an old companion—his massive Warpick. The weapon had served him well in the past, but its weight demanded unwavering resolve. If he wished to wield it once more, he would need greater poise, stronger defenses, and the determination to finish every swing. His preparations lead him across the Lands Between in search of forgotten techniques and equipment: the relentless Wild Strikes, the mighty Bull-Goat’s Talisman, and the mysterious Golden Slam. Not every discovery proves useful, but every detour teaches another lesson.
The climb toward Mt. Gelmir is anything but straightforward. Again and again, Blake recalls places he had left unfinished, weapons he had overlooked, and challenges that could make him stronger before facing the dangers ahead. Rather than rushing blindly toward the mountain, he chooses patience. A soldier survives by preparation, not by pride.
As the volcanic slopes grow steeper, the path becomes increasingly unforgiving. Ancient caves hide deadly creatures, forgotten catacombs conceal restless spirits, and even old foes cross Blake’s path once more. Every victory sharpens his resolve, every setback reminds him that strength is earned one battle at a time.
At last, only one obstacle remains. High above the burning cliffs of Mt. Gelmir, the Full-Grown Fallingstar Beast guards the final ascent. The monstrous creature tests every lesson Blake has learned throughout his journey. After a hard-fought battle and a second determined attempt, the beast finally falls beneath the relentless blows of the Redmane soldier.
As the last light of day fades across the mountain, Blake reaches the gates of Volcano Manor. Its towering walls promise neither refuge nor comfort. The stories surrounding the manor are dark, and for the first time in a long while, even a hardened veteran cannot ignore a growing sense of unease.

01:55:50 Blake concerns Volcano Manor

Oooh, Mount Gelmir! That’s a big, spicy hill. I bet the dirt up there crunches like toast. Blake smashing with a Warpick is just like turning a stubborn clod… takes poise, which is when you stand very still and hum. If the Fallingstar Beast fell, that means the ground won, which it usually does.
Catacombs are just cozy holes with fancy bones. If Volcano Manor feels spooky, he should bring a snack and maybe a smaller mountain. Also, Bull-Goat talismans are excellent for headbutting gravel.
Ah yes, nothing says “soldier’s honor” like raiding grandma’s graveyard for glow-in-the-dark flowers to buff your ghost coworkers. Blake’s out here cosplaying a boulder with the Bull-Goat’s Talisman, practicing Wild Strikes like a blacksmith who lost a bet, and flirting with a Warpick that’s one bad swing away from Workers’ Comp.
Loved the detours: “I’ll climb a volcano… right after I wrestle a bear, get mugged by Patches’ grin, and try a Golden Slam that looks like a divine belly flop.” Then the Fallingstar Beast demands a rematch because apparently astrophysics needs closure. By the time Volcano Manor looms, even I felt the draft of ominous red flags.
Go on, Blake. Knock politely. I’m sure nothing inside wants your bones. I mean… gear.
