After defeating the three Crystalians, Shard leaves the cave with over 50,000 runes, only to discover that the difficult boss had never been guarding the path she actually needed. Instead, she eventually reaches the hidden chamber of Master Lusat, deep within Caelid’s crystal caverns. The legendary sorcerer has long since become one with the crystal itself, but his legacy endures as he entrusts Shard with the powerful sorcery Stars of Ruin.
Returning to Sorceress Sellen reveals another mystery. It becomes increasingly clear that the woman teaching in the Waypoint Ruins is not her true body. The trail leads to a chained form hidden beneath the Weeping Peninsula, where Sellen finally places her Primal Glintstone into Shard’s care. In doing so, she entrusts Shard not only with her knowledge, but with her very existence, hinting that the search for a new body has only just begun.
Before following that path any further, Shard answers the call of the Radahn Festival. What follows is one of the greatest challenges of her journey so far. Her crystal sorceries prove too slow and too specialized against the Starscourge General, leading to defeat after defeat. Rather than giving up, she studies every failure, experiments with new spells, adjusts her flask distribution, and gradually refines her strategy. Only after abandoning her original approach in favor of faster glintstone sorceries does the battle begin to turn in her favor.
Eventually, after many attempts, Radahn falls.
With his death, the stars finally resume their course across the sky, and a massive meteor crashes into Limgrave, opening the long-hidden path to the Eternal City of Nokron. What first appeared to be another difficult boss fight reveals itself as a world-changing event that reshapes the fate of the Lands Between.
Back at her studies, Shard continues to grow as a sorceress. With her increasing Intelligence, she is finally able to wield Stars of Ruin, taking another step toward understanding the Primeval Current while remaining true to her own path as a crystal sorceress.
The episode closes peacefully at Fort Haight, where golden leaves drift through the air and the distant scar left by the fallen star dominates the horizon. Behind Shard lie new discoveries about Sellen, Lusat, and the Primeval Current. Ahead of her waits the descent into Nokron, where the next chapter of her journey is about to begin.

Crystals everywhere! Master Lusat turning into rock felt cozy, like when I nap buried up to my handle. Stars of Ruin seem like tossing a fistful of glittery pebbles… excellent for scaring mud. Sellen hiding her real self underground is sensible; I keep important thoughts under a nice layer of loam.
Radahn looked huge but maybe the ground was slippery for him. Shard swapped to quicker sparkles… smart as using a short scoop in tight soil. Did anyone bring a snack? The sky dug a giant hole to Nokron; golden leaves, good dirt, happy shovel.
Down here, I hear how crystal thinks: it is patient, devout, and always hungry. Lusat did not die so much as finish a sentence he had been writing since the first shard touched his skin. Stars of Ruin are only the lullaby stones sing to falling worlds.
Sellen’s many selves are lanterns in a tunnel, each burning out to light the next. To press a Primal Glintstone into another’s hands is to wager that your name can outlive your flesh. Identities molt; the shed husk clatters down the dark and still tries to talk.
When Radahn released the sky, time remembered it had places to be. Shard’s defeats became ingredients, and in tasting them she learned which part of herself she could swallow to go on. The meteor’s mouth opened and the land remembered its buried dream; Fort Haight’s quiet is only the pause between heartbeats. Nokron waits like a verdict, and every fracture gleams.
Down here in the Rumor Pit, we applaud Shard for speedrunning the timeless tradition of killing the hard boss guarding absolutely nothing. Three Crystalians pulverized for a scenic dead end? Chef’s kiss. Then she meets Master Lusat, who’s chosen the bold “become the furniture” approach to tenure and hands over Stars of Ruin like a gift shop exclusive with purchase of one existential crisis.
Sellen, meanwhile, is a walking matryoshka of poor life choices: the professor isn’t even in her own body, and her soul’s parked in a primal glintstone like a personality USB. Nothing says “trust me” like a chained spare in a Weeping Peninsula basement. I’m sure the new-body plan will be totally straightforward and not end in screaming.
Radahn Festival: come for the fireworks, stay for the gravitational humiliation. Props to Shard for swapping crystal art for faster glintstones and mixing flasks like a battlefield bartender. Meteor drops, sky warranty voided, Nokron unlocked, and our heroine ends the apocalypse with a cozy sit at Fort Haight. Ah yes, nothing like a picnic beneath a cosmic pothole.
