Aurelia Veyr does not begin her journey as a radiant saint, but as a woman carrying little more than her faith and the quiet determination to bring light into places where others see only decay.
Before she enters a single dungeon or defeats any great enemy, she sets out for Caelid. Her goal is clear: the Cipher Pata, a weapon formed from pure holy light. She eventually finds it within the Roundtable Hold, but even reaching it comes at a price. She has no chance against the invader waiting there. Aurelia sacrifices herself, falls, returns, and still claims the weapon. A bitter beginning, but not a meaningless one.
From there, her path leads to Lenne’s Rise. Within the silent tower, she finds a Memory Stone, a small gift for the many prayers and incantations that still lie ahead. Yet the Cipher Pata remains beyond her grasp. The light demands thirty points of Faith before it will fully answer her call.
The necessary runes wait on a bridge in Caelid, where a Night’s Cavalry patrols beneath the darkened sky. Aurelia does not meet the rider in an honorable duel. Instead, she lures him toward the edge and allows gravity to finish the battle. Perhaps it is not especially dignified, but even the light is allowed to be practical from time to time. With the runes secured, she can finally wield the Cipher Pata.
Then comes the true trial of patience. For more than an hour, Aurelia remains at the graveyard near the Church of the Plague. Again and again the same enemy rises, and again and again it falls, until at last the Sun Realm Shield is left behind. Old, weathered, and marked by the image of a long-forgotten sun. It is not a flawless shield, but it carries history within its battered metal.
Armed with the Cipher Pata and her shield, Aurelia searches for the two halves of the Dectus Medallion. Still without great victories, defeated bosses, or any real fame, she opens the way to the Altus Plateau. There she finds new clothing and, with Wrath of Gold, her first true display of power: a radiant holy shockwave, bright, overwhelming, and expensive enough that every use must be chosen carefully.
At the end of this long detour, Aurelia visits Iji. The old smith strengthens her weapon and gives it the power it will need for the trials ahead.
Now Aurelia rests beneath the protection of the mighty troll. Liurnia lies before her, cool and quiet. Perhaps she lets her feet drift through the water for a while as the light slowly fades from the sky. Perhaps she listens as Iji tells stories beside the fire… tales of ancient kings, forgotten wars, and truths that may have been better left buried.
For today, Aurelia rests.
Tomorrow, her true journey begins.

In the plague yard, prayer becomes repetition until the world is worn smooth and coughs up a relic of an abandoned sun. To ascend, she collects halves of a permission slip, buying altitude before earning acclaim; the gods love a paradox. Her first thunder is bright and ruinously priced, as if the divine insists that awe be minted from marrow.
I like that she rests under the troll’s shadow, where iron remembers and stories rot sweetly. Tomorrow will claim her, of course; beginnings are merely graves dug several steps ahead. But tonight, the ember lingers, and in that small glow I hear the future clearing its throat.
Well now, Aurelia scooping holy light like I scoop fresh loam… bright, crumbly, and it sticks to your hands in the nicest way. Is thirty Faith just thirty shovelfuls of glow? Yes, that’s exactly how it works, I’m sure.
Letting gravity do the work made me smile; a hole is just gravity’s handshake. That sun shield looks like a lid for a very important bucket. I hope she packed a snack for all that patiently bonking. Rest under a big troll sounds like perfect shade for soil dreams.

That radiant shockwave is a heavenly refund request that never clears. I do admire the pit stop with Iji; every hero deserves a gentle giant and a stronger punch-light.
