07 – Asylum

I had really imagined it would be more difficult, the Asylum wasn’t a big problem. The narrow, winding rooms and corridors in particular are actually poison for a ranged fighter, but the Technomancer got through just fine. It’s just like dancing on a volcano, you have to be careful, you’re absolutely not a tank and you pay very heavily for mistakes.

But with the Asylum boss I noticed how strong TECHNMNCR has become now, he was gone in no time. The Plagued Nemesis didn’t even get to use one of his special attacks. I think TECHNMNCR is getting really strong now. Maybe it’s also because of the staff, but I have the impression that the difficulty is now decreasing a bit and it’s getting easier.

To my delight, there’s also a new perk, which means I now get some mana back with every attack. The more damage I do, the more mana I get. All I have to do now is keep strengthening my intelligence.
However, you can tell that I can really only dish it out, but not take it. The boss hit me directly on my first attempt. So sneak carefully around the corners and watch your mana. Anything at least medium range is no problem.
