Now the last of my characters has made it through the game. It was a good idea to play it with several classes. I learned that the difficulty often lies in the weapon. Some bosses are much easier to kill with certain weapons than with others. The spear is challenging, but the damage is limited. But it is fun, especially the spear from the painted world of Ariandel, because you can throw it like Sparta.
Ash has now done it too. Which of them has been the easiest so far? I would say Knight with Halberd. You do good damage, can hold your own against several opponents and have a very good range. I still wonder where the advantages of the spear are? After the knight, I would go straight for the pyromancer, it’s fun to knock everything down with it as long as you keep your distance and have mana. Surprise ambushes are a problem for the Pyromancer, though. If you already know the game, of course, that happens less, but I found it quite pleasant with the Pyromancer.
Which class was the most difficult? Hmm… I can’t say exactly, depending on the boss, you had advantages and disadvantages. Some areas are also more difficult with certain classes – a pyromancer in Smouldering Lake doesn’t have it soooo easy 🙂
A few things would still tempt me… Try a sword, or a great axe, a katana or a big 2hd halberd. NG+ would actually be a good choice for that, also a new experience.
