Odd, as if it’s a resting place for those seeking to escape the cold grip of rheumatism by burying themselves in the heat.
No matter. It’s time to explore this passage. The Smouldering Lake awaits—a place of ruins and ash. I’ve heard rumors of an ancient, withering Demon King still wandering its depths. Perhaps he holds valuable knowledge of necromancy, or maybe there’s a forgotten tome or spell hidden among the ruins, waiting for someone like me to claim it. And I think the warmth might do my old bones some good… before I confront the Demon King.
