Comrade Alistair is a simple foot soldier who actually only lights the way for his troop. With a long staff torch he explores the darkness under the protection of his comrades.
His life as a soldier was simple, but also harmless and constant. If it weren’t for a small problem, he and his brigade wouldn’t have been paid for six months. This is the reason why they wanted to form a union for the soldiers in Limgrave. It cannot be that ruins are constantly being dug and dragons fed, but there is no pay left for the common soldier.
His commander always refused and threatened with carrots and sticks if they did not do as they were told. Alistair, however, persisted. One evening, the commander was willing to negotiate and they arranged to meet in a clearing in the forest.
Alistair, very happy and expecting to be noticed, set off on time. The next thing he knew, however, he was stepping out of a coffin in a lonely church and somehow everything was wrong. Had he been drinking?
So he got out of the coffin and went on his way. In front of him, behind an old suspension bridge, a many-armed monster with a shield and a sword appeared. Okay, he thought, he must be dreaming and jumped straight into the abyss on the left.
But his suffering had no end, when he arrived in Limgrave (where he somehow doesn’t know how this is connected now, must be one hell of a hangover) he found his old friends again. But suddenly he was told he was a deserter and should be hunted down on sight. Before he could even say a word, everyone was hunting him down. Fortunately, he still had connections to his old comrades and friends, he could rely on them. But actually they were already dead… He no longer understood the world. Only the urge to finally claim his wages drove him towards Godrick. On the way, he met several completely weird ladies who wanted to burden him with all their problems. He has no time for that, his life is already too crazy.

– only wear soldier stuff (what you find)
– only use weapons from soldiers
– main weapon must be the torchpole
– only summon soldiers as spirits
