We pack our things and leave the capital. It’s off to the icy snow-covered peaks of the giants. Even the first part of the journey through the forbidden land has an eerie mystical atmosphere. As the darkness recedes and it becomes lighter, I immediately have memories of Skyrim in my head. Oh how I love Skyrim and find it a pity that there was never a sequel.
But now it’s time to climb the mountain. Somehow I get the feeling that I have to make a decision at the top, I probably have to sacrifice a girl. But another guy with a sieve-like funnel on his head says that’s not necessary and that the path of chaos is the path of justice. Probably one is always smarter afterwards and makes the wrong decision anyway. What seemed right at first turns out to be wrong.
But… I don’t care at the moment, I’m enjoying the landscape. Great game From Software, what has been achieved here is truly a milestone in the video game industry. No matter what else is to come, everything up to this point has been worthwhile. Yes, it’s not Dark Souls, but it’s very close. You really have to get involved with something new here, but the exploration, the many weapons, the crafting system, the many hidden paths, secrets and treasures. Fantastic!
