Since the Draconic Tree Sentinel seems to be just a boss’s bodyguard, I didn’t really think anything of it. However, I was immediately shocked, hui he deals a lot of damage and what a life scale. On top of that, the horse spits fire as soon as you’re too far away and the rider has a thing for lightning.
But I managed to get through him. It was exactly the kind of fight I know from Dark Souls, hard duels. The magic stuff could have been a bit less for my taste.
But what makes the fight so incredibly special… Arelion survived with one HP. In fact, there was still one life point left at the end. Unbelievable. I’m thinking about taking a break before the boss and playing with another character. The wizard (Ja’ir Talass) could also do with a bit of a break. Especially since the completely different way of playing brings some momentum back to the old opponents.
