It’s time for the Haligtree… actually I’m only doing it for three things. The Great Grave Glovewort, the Seedbed Curse and the great atmosphere down in the city. I wish it was bigger, as big as Leyndell would be great. I also somewhat like to test out my chars and gain experience on how which skill/spell affects gameplay. Currently I only use ghost ashes that consist of skeletons or zombies. Probably only the skeleton archers and large shield bearers. The stinky zombies are too stiff and location-bound for me. The spearmen and the skeleton assassin are just too weak. They just fall over too quickly and the damage is not really noticeable.
I especially like the big shield skeletons, it gives such a team feeling when you’re out and about. I wish I could roam around with them all the time (always feels a bit lonely).
What I don’t like about the Haligtree? The crown, it’s annoying and confusing. I already know a lot by heart, but some things I forget again and other things I’ve bypassed so far. That’s why this time I’m also farming Envoy’s Greathorn.
I also have to learn how to deal with knights carrying a shield as a necromancer, I can rarely think of a good tactic that works from behind or a surprise attack.
Those are my problems. I’m glad you like to accompany me, Elphael, Brace of the Haligtree is one of the most beautiful areas for me. The city is great, I would like to see more cities like it.
