I was annoyed by the mistake with Nazir, to be eliminated so early is really bitter. So I created another character for Putrid Child (Azkiel) and I’ll be more careful with this one. Of course, there’s also a bit of luck involved, what kind of enemies will get in the way and what loot will be available. My current wish is for a second weapon that does cold damage (Left-hand Bringer of Stillness, for example). A few more interesting spells could also be helpful, but that’s also the challenge. Did I mention that I don’t like the Putrid Child mode at all… so many things to do.
The biggest obstacle for me in the beginning is always Pilgrim’s Perch. It’s not easy to get up the ladders while all sorts of things are shooting and hitting you in the back. You can rarely deal with one enemy because there are three others scurrying around in the turmoil. In this case, the risk was too great for me after a few attempts and I thought, let’s do another big round in the previous areas and gain some experience… Maybe some useful loot will drop.
I finally reached the Bellroom in the finale. That’s a big milestone for me and I took a deep breath. Two hours had already passed so quickly.
