If you’re not really focussed, you die quite quickly. In this case, I wasn’t looking at the enemy lurking behind the door, my mind was elsewhere. The proselyte then surprised me while I was fighting with the other one. It was close and I wouldn’t have missed much. Watching the video again gave me lots of ideas on how I could have prevented it. But hey, that was the challenge and Nazir didn’t do too badly.
What I didn’t like about Nazir, however, was the colour of his skin and hair. I thought I’d break out and try something a bit more colourful… but somehow shrill isn’t my thing. Next time I’ll stick to more realistic skin and hair colours. Every time I took off the hood, I was a bit annoyed… it looked unspeakably inappropriate and not funny. I’ve seen a lot of people in Dark Souls III go to great lengths to create the most disfigured or colourful character possible (the new ugly), but I don’t connect with the character. There is no identification and I suffer and rejoice less. So next time no random char, somehow nothing useful comes out.
