Note: I’ve been farming for over an hour now and really had some luck with the drops. The two poisoned spears were great but the halberd… I was really happy about that. I kept thinking about Scourged Sister Delyth the whole time. But I was also lucky in this respect, because right in front of the Vestiges (checkpoint) at the entrance to the sanctuary was the Light edition of her. So I had the chance to familiarise myself with her a little better.
After a few rounds, I plucked up my courage and paid a visit to the original. But before I faced her, I had to decide whether to take the halberd or attack with two Shuja Warrior Spears. The halberd does significantly more damage and would actually be the more sensible option, but I was more familiar with the spears. I knew the range, the advantages and disadvantages of the attacks and knew how to use them reasonably well, so I decided to stick with the familiar spears. Then the fight… I was excited and tried to pay close attention to their attacks. Above all, not to get too greedy and to retreat directly after one or two strikes.
Of course I made mistakes where I got stuck or the camera didn’t play along, but it was enough. I beat them. I have to say, after all the farming of the items, that would have really hurt me. Now, however, the big climb is coming up – Pilgrim’s Perch. If I lose the good Blanca through stupidity, I’d be really sorry. Maybe I’ll keep her and continue playing her outside the Challenge.
