The Tower of Penance is waiting for you to come down and remove the biggest sinner in the tower. No small feat as a melee fighter, especially if you don’t have the most powerful weapon with you. But it’s fun, the challenge rewards you when you’ve made it.
Tancred, Master of Castigations, gave me a bit of a hard time. He often does combos where he follows you up after a moment, so you’re tempted to immediately launch a counterattack. I had to adjust to that first. Luckily I have the shield with me, so you can block or try a parry from time to time. Back in the game… the forsaken grenade. Somehow a crossbow rarely does you any good against bosses, it just takes too long to unpack and shoot it. Maybe I’ll try an archer in the future.
