I had the idea of expanding the burning of the sword a little. My idea was that if I wield two swords of this type, the opponent burns faster.
To cut a long story short, it wasn’t a very good idea. The opponent burns a little faster, but the status effect hardly does any damage. Maybe he has another advantage, less fire resistance etc., but as a pure strength melee fighter I have nothing of that. I think two swords like Isaac’s would be more successful. Maybe I’ll find something useful in the coming areas. Basically, I’d like to have a useful status effect that I can apply to the enemy and a longsword that scales excellently with strength. I’m wondering whether I should perhaps start skilling Radiance. It doesn’t seem to bring much more than 50 points in strength.
