Boss killed: The Hushed Saint
There he is, the heavily armoured great knight, waiting in his swampy lair – The Hushed Saint. I have a lot of respect for this guy, as I had to fight hard with my knight. The Hushed Saint is very resistant to poison and umbral magic, so I’m actually the worst possible candidate to defeat him. What’s more, I have very little HP and my pure physical power is somewhat limited.
As an Umbral Wizard, I not only enjoy the advantages of the Umbral world, but also have access to a wide range of spells from the holy spectrum and fire spells.
Since I previously got a catalyst for radiant spells, I opted for holy to at least polish up my weapons a bit.
What can I say, my worries were unfounded, I was simply too well prepared and was able to defeat him on my first attempt. But I also realised that my two sticks of holy damage really pack a punch. I would have liked to have repeated the fight to see what it would have looked like with poison, was it really down to the holy support or were the weapons already too well developed at level 3?
It’s a shame really, I was really looking forward to the fight, I’ll have to set a level for the next character that you shouldn’t exceed to have fun with him.
