I am in La Cite, will I find Abbot Gregoire here and get answers? I think so. Will I get on better with the alchemist now? I think so, but he’s still the most challenging class in SteelRising for me.
The Alchemist is incredibly dependent on Anima Essences, if he has none he is very weak. What’s more, you have to constantly buff them, which takes some of the appeal out of the class. The fire chain is fun, because even unbuffed it does more damage than the glass core bantons. Unfortunately, it is so slow that almost all enemies interrupt me with a quick hit as soon as I lunge. I think I’ll switch back to ice and keep the fire chain in case an enemy is immune to ice.
The boss of this neighbourhood, the Bishop, was a bit of a tough cookie. With the bodyguard and the soldier, you have a much easier time with him. However, as I like a challenge, I’ll go through with the alchemist, maybe something will come up.
