Imagine spending 400 years in a world all alone. Nobody talks to you, you sit there with no hope of redemption – purgatory as a torture chamber. Niclas Flamel may have been an evil alchemist, but at least death should bring redemption and 400 years in solitary confinement is a very long time.
This brings us to the end of the side quest about Nicolas Flamel, after which we can move on. I have a suspicion that the grand finale is not far away.
