The decisive battle, the hunt for the king. The joints are oiled, the weapons are sharpened and all senses are focussed. It’s afternoon in Versailles… and what an afternoon it is. The light and the atmosphere are fantastic, in case I die (and I will) it really is a great place and a great time.
Versailles is still the highlight of SteelRising, I enjoy it every time. Let’s see how I do as a dancer with all the enemy groups. I’ll have to pull myself together and not just hit them and if I die, I won’t immediately run into the next group of enemies in frustration.
My parrying skills really came up short with the final boss, but what’s the point of having a secondary weapon? I was able to kill the iron bird of paradise from a distance with the daggers from the fan.
What remains? It’s a shame that it’s over, but I’ve played it four times now, maybe one more time in the near future with all the add-ons. I’m currently looking for something new. SteelRising is a good game, it could have been very good to great… if it weren’t for the many bugs in the game design, logic and programming. I was actually hoping that after more than a year after release everything would be fixed, but unfortunately not. In school grades I fluctuate between a 2 and a 3+, but since I played through four times and had fun with every class, the 2 is justified.
Which soulslike game would be next in line?
