Back to Les Invalides, past the workshops and straight to the hotel. Not that the machine would have been able to overcome the simple limitations before, but it’s just game mechanics. I think the world is really very well done, I’m very enthusiastic about France in 1789. Very atmospheric and impressive. If there’s a new part, I’ll be there. I’m curious to see what kind of death magic is keeping the automatons alive, my hunch is that the soul is being held captive and this energy is being used to power the automatons. That’s why people often have a hazy memory of what happened around them during their imprisonment in the sarcophagus.
I’m now travelling to the hotel and discovering lots of things again that I can’t open yet and think more… okay, we’ll probably come back here a third time. I’m beginning to wish for more details that would make the picture of the vending machine invasion clearer. I want to know if my suspicions are confirmed.
