I actually wanted to advance to the Bastille, but then I remembered a weapon in Saint Cloud and my levelling lessons there. So I first went to Saint Cloud and recovered the halberd. It’s much heavier than my current weapon, but unfortunately not really any better. I only realised this when I had already invested a few points in alchemy. Somehow I have the feeling that it almost doesn’t matter what points you invest as long as you don’t neglect the basic skills like HP, stamina and strength.
Anyway, it was basically a waste of time, the soldier is already pretty strong even without a few extra levels. I could have done without the few hours, the first weapon remains the best. In any case, I’ve now realised that alchemy doesn’t really suit him. I think I’ll invest all the points I get now in armour, even if I don’t really need it.
