10 – VBS Krakow

An aircraft carrier in port with a surprise…. there are no soldiers on board but rich refugees who have a mobile base on the aircraft carrier to live their lives autonomously from the rest of the world. There are single-family houses on the take-off and landing area, with roads and even cars. Madness, I like it very much.

I find it much more challenging in terms of difficulty, maybe also because I’m playing NG+ and haven’t finished the main game yet, my equipment isn’t maxed out yet. On the other hand, I have the impression that parry is the trump card here… and once again I’m not good at it.
The intermediate boss with a burning axe (Collective Incinerator) was quite hard… but I managed it quite well (for my standards). I would have loved to have his weapon, but unfortunately I was so concentrated on parrying that I forgot to cut off his arm – too bad.

The final boss, however… that was really demanding and had it all. Maybe also because I didn’t parry properly again. I thought the story at VBS Krakow was a really cool idea, but I would have hoped for more. I mean, it’s an aircraft carrier, so there would have been possibilities (literally) to go into more depth. If you’re a bit more experienced with the enemies and weapons, you’ll be through the DLC in about an hour.
