I had it in my head the whole time that I had found the equipment for the Technomancer somewhere in the monastery, so I had another look at ‘The First’ and lo and behold… I walked past it several times. So I went back to the monastery and retrieved the equipment. The staff seemed particularly important to me. But now it turns out that the Technomancer really is a mana hole. I wasn’t so sure what to take with the perks either. I decided in favour of the vampire again, but I often think that the technomancer perk might have been the better choice after all. Maybe later, when I’m allowed to choose another perk.
Back in block 6174, the question arose… which way? There are so many paths here and I like to get lost. It’s problematic when you’ve travelled really far in one direction and then die. I often don’t know exactly where I was, a map would be really helpful here, it’s all so mechanised anyway, I could imagine a little radar or GPS to give you a rough idea of where you are, at least the areas you’ve already travelled.
But after one death deep inside, the air was out for the time being. The Technomancer is tougher to play at the beginning than I thought, I think if you can solve the mana problem at some point, then there’s more music in it.
