The lock is even more confusing on the inside than on the outside. Somehow everything is connected but you have to find out what you have to open or explore first. It’s not really a puzzle or riddle, but when you fight your way through hordes of enemies only to realise… Oh well, I’ve now fought my way through here for the weapon that’s useless for my class… where does it actually go from here?
But my biggest enemy in here is the camera, you can hardly manage to have a pleasant duel without the camera completely losing the picture. Then of course there are the many adds. It’s slowly becoming more of a Diablo than a Dark Souls.
Now that you’ve made it, the grand finale seems to be on the horizon. Will I meet Adyr here? Or an enemy who explains the Umbral thing? I’m very excited, but also a little wistful. I don’t want it to be over yet, especially as I’ve been given sooooo many weapons that I’d actually like to play. Why am I getting so many drops now while I had to play the first third of the game with my starting equipment?
I’m thinking about leaving Coal as it is for now… so close to the final battle? I assume after the epic arena in the castle that it’s the final battle.
