The next area will be (drum roll)… Path of Devotion. But to get there I first need the bell key to Pilgrim’s Perch. It costs a measly 18,000 Vigor. But it’s still quite a quick search. In real time, it takes around 25 minutes. After that, I can slaughter my way through the cultist area. I chose this area in particular because of the Umbral Eye of Loash. I can use it to deliver heavy blows without being constantly interrupted. I also take damage as Wither Damage for this time. I already know this from Glöckchen, I think it could also be useful with a longsword.
I’m currently toying with the idea of using a greatsword from time to time. What’s stopping me right now is the problem of upgrading… I’d need a lot of ore and, of course, I’d have to find a nice one that suits a paladin. In this respect, I’m also playing with a respec so that the holy side comes out a bit. Especially when I’m fighting paladins who attack with radiance attacks and AEs, I’m a bit envious. Let’s see, first clear out Pilgrim’s Perch and see what else I can get my hands on.
