I still have one area on my list that needs to be explored before I no longer know where to go. As it turned out, it was another part of Uranopolis, exactly the one I had seen from the bridge but couldn’t reach.
There was one more area in Deluge, and that was a gate and I could also see a few buildings at the top where I was sure I could still get there somehow. Maybe I’ll stop by there later if I can’t get any further.
After I had also opened up the second part of Uranopolis (and the enemies are still tough) I decided to take another look at the desert. Maybe the gate there is already open and I can walk through it. Lo and behold… I succeeded. A short cutscene came in which I was told to be careful and that I needed my fighting skills. Good to know, because the whole time I was fighting the enemies with chess 😀
