After the undead settlement, two options await: Farron Keep and the Cathedral of the Deep. There are two bosses waiting for me there that I have to get out of the way. But no matter which one I choose first, I have to complete the Road of Sacrifices first. Here, an unruly mage, a very challenging black knight and a very aggressive Darkwrait await me.
The area itself is quite relaxing, but only in terms of ambience. The opponents require new tactics and with the Caestus I have to come up with different solutions to problems than before. The short range of the gloves is noticeable time and again. But once you’ve found the right tactic for an opponent, they’re only half as difficult.
