And so my path led me deep into the Ringed City, a place of decay and shadowed echoes of long-lost splendor. The dragon, ancient and full of wrath, loomed over the cavern, its breath of flame merciless against any who dared come near. But in the dark depths of the cave, I found a moment’s safety, inching forward with every step, always on guard. We met on the bridge, locked in a brief dance of steel and fire, but the dragon slipped away, sensing, perhaps, that its end was close.
Yet escape was a fleeting mercy. I caught up with the beast soon after, and this time, there would be no retreat. It fell, a final reminder of the raw, ancient power that once ruled over this land.
Beyond the dragon waited the weary knight, Gael. Poor soul—he had spent countless centuries in search of the Dark Soul for his painter, seeking an unreachable salvation for both himself and this broken world. It was almost merciful to grant him release, to end his endless struggle. The Ringed City, filled with crumbling towers and abandoned streets, remains in my memory as a place of quiet melancholy, a mere shadow of what it once was.
Now, only one goal remains: the final encounter with the Souls of Cinder. The last chapter awaits, and I can feel that all my gathered power will be put to the ultimate test. The darkness calls, and I am ready to answer.
