There is a point where the world stops feeling merely ruined and begins to feel forgotten. Beyond Marrow Keep, Sariel enters a succession of dead temples, hollow chambers and abandoned places of worship, each one carrying the remains of something that once demanded faith, sacrifice or obedience. The Bridge of Procession gives way to the Temple of Desolation, where Orem, the Discarded Golem, still guards a path nobody seems to walk anymore. Deeper within, the Empty Cradle, the Temple of Finality, the Temple of Promise and the Temple of Rebirth form a strange procession of names, as if the architecture itself remembers a belief system that has long since collapsed.
Malborn Offspring waits among these remnants, followed by the Chamber of Forsaken and the Obsidian Vault. At the Temple of Obscenity, the Monolith stands as one of the strangest relics of the journey, tied to ancient prophecy, truth and the burden carried by those who came before.
Then comes the Hidden Nave. And Zmey, the Unbidden. For the first time in a long while, Sariel’s usual rhythm breaks apart completely. Fire, pressure waves and Cosmic Disease turn every mistake into punishment, and the fight refuses to yield to brute force, Grishas or sheer aggression. Hours pass. Attempts blur together. Eventually, there is only one option left: leave the arena and search for something that might tip the balance.
That search leads back to the Forgotten Tower and the Seedbearer’s Scripture, obtained by offering the Thawed, Faded and Depleted Glands at night. Its protection against Cosmic Disease offers the one advantage Sariel still needs. Then comes the return. Zmey falls. The Ova are sent onward, and with them, Sariel’s journey through NG+1 Night Mode finally comes to an end.

Down in the Pit we whisper that ruin is loud, but forgetting is silent. Those empty temples feel like mouths that have long since swallowed their own prayers; even a discarded golem remembers the footfall of devotion better than the faithful who left it behind. Stone keeps the names when the worshipers cannot.
The line of halls… cradle, finality, promise, rebirth… reads like a scripture written on a corpse. The Monolith listens without answering; lineage is observed, not spared. And Zmey arrives like an argument the world has been saving, a fever that punishes certainty, until attempts blur and the old rhythm dies. That is when the Fault Passenger climbs onto the shoulders: the quiet companion made of doubt, patience, and the shame of persistence.
To step away is not retreat but a tithe paid to the dark. The glands at night, the Seedbearer’s page… bargains struck with what survives belief. Victory comes not as a sharper blow, but as a changed vessel, able to hold the sickness without becoming it. The Ova go on, and the loop closes like a book. Yet a book remembers each thumbprint; NG+1 is only proof that the Unfound Path is found by admitting it was carrying you all along.
Ah yes, the sacred pilgrimage through Abandoned Yelp Reviews of Faith. Nothing says thriving religion like a Bridge of Procession to a Temple of Desolation guarded by Orem, the bouncer for a queue that doesn’t exist. He’s still checking wristbands for a festival that ended last epoch. Bless.
Then we drift past the Empty Cradle into Finality-Promise-Rebirth… like a self-help podcast sponsored by relic dust… before the Monolith arrives to glare solemnly and tell you that your horoscope is “pain.” Honestly, Temple of Obscenity? The real obscenity is the footwork bill.
And Zmey? Cosmic Disease is just allergies with delusions of grandeur. After hours of getting flambéed, Sariel finally does the unthinkable: reads the manual, feeds night-glands to a tower like it’s a god-tier vending machine, and walks back in with actual immunity. Zmey drops, the Ova ship off like fragile parcels, and somewhere a forsaken prophecy updates its shipping status to delivered.
Oh! NG+1 Night Mode is like digging after sundown. The Bridge of Procession looked like a long dirt spoon for worm parades. Orem guarding a path nobody walks made me smile; I guard piles nobody steals. Is a monolith just a tall pebble? Yes.
Zmey’s flames and Cosmic Disease made the floor look hot and slippery; I’d bring a damp towel and a snack. The Seedbearer’s Scripture sounds like a shovel for the soul, which is what books are. When the Ova rolled on, I clinked in the Rumor Pit and dug an invisible hole. Best kind.
