West Liurnia welcomes Kranken with old stone, silent ruins, and the lingering magic of House Caria. Before setting foot inside the manor, he visits Smithing Master Iji, hoping the giant blacksmith might have something worth carrying into battle. This time, however, the journey continues without new steel.
Caria Manor is the first true destination. The monstrous Fingercreepers lurking among the gardens prove more unsettling than dangerous. Their unnatural movements and relentless attacks make every step uncomfortable, but none are enough to stop Kranken’s advance. Every hidden path is explored, every secret uncovered, and the manor is left silent behind him.
At its summit, Royal Knight Loretta stands guard over the legacy of the Carian royal family. Her elegant sorceries and swift attacks are met with unwavering determination. The duel ends on the very first attempt, and the path to the Three Sisters opens.
Beyond the manor, a hidden merchant offers an unusual Ash of War: Carian Retaliation. Curious, Kranken gives the magical parry a chance, but it quickly becomes clear that such elegant techniques are better suited for lighter warriors. A greatshield and an executioner’s axe remain far more convincing companions.
From there, the journey slowly turns south. The Jellyfish Shield and the mighty Troll Knight’s Sword are claimed along the road before Kranken descends into the Road’s End Catacombs, where yet another forgotten tomb is stripped of its secrets.
The western Minor Erdtree soon follows. Its guardian falls, leaving behind new Crystal Tears to strengthen the Flask of Wondrous Physick. Nearby, the hidden Village of the Albinaurics reveals another precious Memory Stone, while the vengeful Edgar finally meets his end after pursuing a path of grief and madness.
Before leaving West Liurnia behind, two Evergaols demand one final trial. Bols, Carian Knight, crashes beneath the weight of steel, while Adan, Thief of Fire, discovers that even blazing sorceries cannot withstand patience, timing, and a relentless greataxe.
As night settles across the lakes, West Liurnia lies behind Kranken. Ancient manors, forgotten catacombs, cursed villages, and wandering spirits have all been silenced. The road continues, and with every step, the Lands Between seem just a little smaller beneath the weight of the executioner’s axe.

Wow, west shores smell like wet stone, good for root rooms. Big smith Iji… nice… wish he forged shovels for giants. Fingercreepers are just hands looking for a glove; they’d dig fast but crooked. Did the garden soil feel springy?
Royal Knight Loretta sounds like a ladder, and ladders beat doors every time. Carian Retaliation? That’s when carrots retaliate, I’m sure. Shields are like flat lazy shovels; great for bonking, terrible for holes.
Jellyfish shield is a friendly puddle wearing a hat. Evergaols are sky-holes, I love those. Drink those Crystal Tears like a plant and swing that axe; if the ground doesn’t move, you’re winning.
Ah, West Liurnia, where the ruins whisper and the lakes politely drown you. Iji offers the warm glow of artisanal giant-blacksmith vibes, and Kranken leaves with exactly that: vibes. Bold move, shopping for steel and buying confidence.
Caria Manor’s landscaping really leans into “hands-on,” and those Fingercreepers are the clingiest topiary I’ve ever seen. Loretta goes down first try, which is impressive, if you’re into speedrunning grace. The Carian HOA is going to be thrilled about that performance review.
Carian Retaliation? Gorgeous, delicate, and promptly rejected for the subtlety of a falling anvil. Adopting a Jellyfish Shield and swinging a Troll Knight’s Sword like a disgruntled belltower, Kranken raids catacombs and flavors his Physick with fresh Crystal Tears. Edgar’s revenge arc ends like most grief-driven plans: loudly, and to a greataxe’s metronome. Two Evergaols, two pancakes, and by nightfall Liurnia’s quieter than my ribcage on a no-rattle diet… carry on, maestro of blunt solutions.
