05 – Finally found Kaldos and Antanas in the Citadel

After a frantic scramble through the citadel’s corridors, I finally reached Kaldos and Antanas, predictably perched at the highest point. Yet, before I could pry any truths from Antanas, I was tasked with purging the planetarium of foes. Our conversation barely concluded before I was handed my next quest rather than answers. I was directed to return to the Rhogar Empire and seek out the Chamber of Lies. The goal: to eliminate two of Adyr’s commanders before Adyr himself would deign to face me. I… to kill a god? Why not—it would certainly be a notable addition to my CV, perhaps even another grand glyph to mark my visage.

Post-meeting, craving solitude, I wandered the mountain fortress more thoroughly. I managed to unravel several puzzles, unlocking doors as I went. Yet, the chests adorned with red symbols eluded me; I suspected they required large runes for access. But those runes were needed by the blacksmith. No simple feat. I also found myself in need of a new weapon; my scythe, Clawfinger, proved too sluggish for my taste. Despite its elegance, my staff adorned with burning blossoms didn’t scale adequately with Faith, thus limiting its damage potential. We’ll see what unfolds.

After an exhaustive exploration of the fortress’s kitchens, quarters, and libraries, it was time to venture through the portal once more and delve into the Rhogar dimension to find the Chamber of Lies. The shadows of doubt and danger loom, yet the path forward calls irresistibly.
