02 – A small Meeting at the Graveyard

With little hope of a breakthrough on this front, I decided to extend my search to the nearby graveyard. There I encountered the Whoreshipper, another Rhogar commander who had set up shop there. His weapon, a massive axe that looked more like a scythe, made it clear that I wasn’t the only one struggling with weapon choice.

To test the power of my magical reflection barrier, I confronted the Whoreshipper in the hope of repelling its powerful blast attacks. My first attempt failed as I activated the barrier too late, and the second time I had to realise that the barrier could not withstand these powerful attacks.

The next time we met, after I was revived, I decided against further experiments and favoured direct confrontation instead. With my new staff, decorated with burning flowers at both ends, I managed to defeat the commander. After the battle, I continued to search the graveyard and found valuable information as well as small runes.

At the end of my path through the graveyard, I finally found the injured Kaslo. He was leaning over a strange, inactive gate that posed more riddles than it offered answers. It was clear that our mission was not yet over and that many challenges still awaited us.

OOC: The cleric is fun, but the defence spell is also very powerful. You basically go into melee combat for 30 seconds and the damage is very limited, it usually heals you AND the enemy gets some of their damage reflected.
Then I found a new staff that looks really cool, like a fire flower and deals a lot of damage.
I’m currently trying to get to grips with the Buckler a bit more, I don’t know exactly how Parry works here yet, but it could be fun. Anyway, I liked it in Lords of the Fallen 2023.
