09 – The Grand Final (Balance Ending)

As I return from the realm of the Rhogar, expecting the desolation of the graveyard, I find myself in the dank confines of the citadel’s cellar. Here, two twisted abominations lie in wait – brothers mutated by dark forces, one wielding flames, the other crackling with lightning. With righteous fury, I dispatch them both, but my path to Antanas is fraught with betrayal.

Declared a traitor by Antanas himself, the very walls of the fortress seem to conspire against me. Demons and soldiers alike now seek my demise. Yet, with unwavering faith and the weight of my hammer, I ascend the citadel’s heights to face the monstrous Antanas.

Adyr’s warning rings true as I behold what Antanas has become – a grotesque amalgamation of man and demon, fueled by rage and avarice. Our clash is fierce, the citadel trembling beneath our fury. In the chaos, we plummet to the lower levels, the battle raging on until, at last, I emerge victorious, Antanas lying lifeless at my feet.

Now, weary and burdened by the weight of truth, I gather the men, revealing the darkness that has infested our stronghold. No longer thirsting for battle, I yearn for respite, for a moment of peace amidst the chaos.
