Upon emerging through the portal into the desolate sanctuary of the Rhogar, I found myself before a runesmith shrouded in anonymity, a purveyor of cryptic philosophies. He tasked me with retrieving a lost crystal, a key that unlocks the corridors of dimensions. Predictably, the Rhogar had commandeered this artifact, utilizing it to infiltrate our world with their demonic presence. Resolving to thwart their incursions, I vowed to reclaim the crystal and seal their passage.
Venturing deeper into the temple’s shadowy recesses, I stumbled upon three deserters. Fools who thought to escape the fray of demon warfare by fleeing through their portal into this realm of darkness. Their cowardice was as palpable as the chill that hung in the air.
Retrieving the crystal was a task fraught with peril, guarded not by mere sentinels but by a grotesque entity—a colossal insect with three spindly legs and the tormented torso of a demon. It left me no choice but to dispatch this abomination.
With the portal’s access now barred to the Rhogar, my path leads me back to our world where I am to confront Antanas, the man upon whom Kaldos places such fervent hope. Yet, as I tread back through the portal, a lingering unease clings to me. The narrative I’ve been woven into does not quite align; the pieces of this dark puzzle refuse to fit snugly, hinting at deeper, unseen machinations.
