And not that it’s already hard to fight against the chaotic camera work, the jumping focus and the char of enemies, no, a new problem has arisen… Me. When it comes to bosses, I’m usually very focussed and don’t act too stupidly, but woe betide me if I have to jump over a chasm.
Fitzroy’s Gorge has given me a new toy, actually two – I now have a short sword that does bleeding damage and fire damage. Also, I can now temporarily buff my weapon with fire damage and… I’ve farmed a kind of funnel-shaped area spell. The area spell is called Blister and is similar to the spell the fire affinity longsword skeletons carry around.
But, even with new toys I’m struggling a bit, I can’t get the full potential out of Coal. I think I should perhaps rethink, not play as a pyromancer but rather as a warrior with fire damage.
I found a nice hammer with inferno scaling and strength… Should I maybe re-skill? Feels a bit like giving up. I’m sure a warrior similar to the Ruiner could be fun, but I really wanted to be a flaming pyromancer. Maybe I’m just imagining the pyromancer in Lords of the Fallen wrong?
I’ll give him another chance, what could be fun is the next area, everything is on fire here and I have the feeling that the enemies aren’t particularly susceptible to fire… …my pain continues…
For Comparison, with Glöckchen i just needed the half of the time for Fitzroy’s Gorge https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y-l2vEYBSxs
I hope I can enjoy my Pyromant at some point, I want to light up 😀
